On Wednesday, the Ohio House Republican leadership said it was abandoning the attempt. With the legislative session having to end by Saturday, too many members of the Republican caucus are out of state.
The Ohio House Republican leadership on Wednesday officially gave up on trying to override Gov. John Kasich's veto this month of legislation that would have banned nearly all abortions.
